Running for a Cause: Join Me in the NYC Marathon

Hi everyone, Margaret here! As I prepare for the final stretch toward the NYC Marathon, I want to share why this journey is so meaningful and how you can be a part of it.

The NYC Marathon is the largest in the world, and I’m so thankful to run thanks to Team for Kids. This charity partnership allows runners like me to support a great cause while achieving a huge personal goal. Team for Kids focuses on encouraging healthy habits for kids through movement—running, walking, and making fitness fun. Their mission means a lot to me because I wish I’d started running earlier in life.

My journey with running, walking, and hiking began in my early 30s. I realized that these simple movements could take me farther than I ever imagined—not just physically, but mentally. Over three years ago, I went through a challenging time, and running was one of my superpowers for healing, growth, and beyond. It's not just about physical health; it’s about mental clarity, creativity, and living my best life.

I’m now in the final days of fundraising, and I’d love for you to join me. There’s still space on my race day shirt for your business or brand. With a donation of $200 or $150 for NAWBO Members.
