Behind the Scenes

Why We Created The Visionary Board

I’ve always loved vision boards. The magazine cutouts. The quotes. The giant boards filled with dreams, goals, places, inspiration, and reminders of the life we wanted to build.

They were fun to make. There’s something powerful about keeping your vision visible.

As life became more mobile I felt like I was missing something. So I would put together collages and I always keep cute things in my view for inspo.
That’s where this came along. I thought I’ll make a template in Canva with a little more intention and also size it to keep it everywhere.
So now as I work from airports, cafés, coworking spaces, apartments, hotels, event venues, I see my guiding light.

A digital Visionary Board. Designed to be simple, fluid, and flexible. Not designed for social media perfection. Just a space to keep important things close.

The people you love.
The places that changed you.
The dreams that still feel a little “out there.”
The life you’re actively building while simultaneously handling responsibilities, stress, deadlines, leadership, creativity, business, family, health, and everything else life throws at you.

Visionaries need reminders too! We’re strong, and also smart - keep the things that strengthen us CLOSE.

Not every part of your vision needs to be explained publicly. We actually think there’s something beautiful about keeping parts of your vision sacred. If you look at my visionary board you may have an inkling of what each piece means, but unless I explain it, no one would get it.

Like a tattoo. Not everyone needs to understand every symbol for it to mean something deeply to you. That idea became part of this project too.

At SocializeLA, we spend a lot of time helping leaders, founders, organizations, and visionaries clarify their vision, organize their messaging, and activate what’s next.

This felt like a natural extension of that work.

A small but meaningful tool for the people building.

Sincerely,

Margaret + Team SocializeLA
